Department:
The department for software development is hiring a professional with 5+ years of experience managing Linux based systems. Manage stand-alone servers, cluster computers, laptop computers, Raspberry Pi systems and more.
Help us transition away from Windows and Apple-based systems. Participate in buying computer hardware and manage our networks, printers, TVs, access control and video surveillance systems. Help us make our IT platform more secure and robust.
You’ll play an important role in:
- Manage the daily operation of hundreds of Linux based systems.
- Reduce down-time and improve user experience.
- Manage hundreds of servers and systems, which run on Linux all the way from Raspberry Pi systems to clusters with thousands of CPUs.
- Helping our colleagues with issues on their laptop computers.
- Managing scripts for installing and updating systems with new software.
- Help manage our IT security and access control and video surveillance systems.
To succeed in the role, you:
- Are very service-minded and willing to help all our colleagues, from lawyers to highly tech-savvy software engineers.
- Have managed hundreds of Linux based systems before.
- Are interested in creating a world-class IT platform for the employees at one of the leading technology companies in the World.
- Are willing to develop yourself as a professional as other projects and areas of expertise will be required as Copenhagen Atomics will grow.
