Join us at Copenhagen Atomics as we finish building a functioning thorium molten salt reactor.

Copenhagen Atomics has invented a new form of nuclear reactor, which is significantly more efficient than any previous nuclear reactors. This will be a game changer for the global energy sector. Our reactors will be able to provide energy at lower cost than any other technology (including fusion).

Department:

The department for lithium enrichment is hiring a professional with 5+ years of experience managing R&D projects related to physics, chemistry and mechanical machinery.

Help us develop world class production systems for lithium separation of Li6 and Li7. Copenhagen Atomics needs to develop and build several production lines for lithium enrichment with an annual capacity of $50 million (20 tonnes).

You’ll play an important role in:

  • Pushing our team of engineers, physicists and marine engineers to lead the world in lithium enrichment.
  • Manage a complex project starting with five colleagues, and grow the team to dozens of employees.
  • Manage hundreds of design choices, and help the team focus on the solutions, which are most likely to help us succeed in the shortest time possible.
  • Developing technology, which is distant to alter global history forever.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • Are willing to push your colleagues hard to achieve results which will be admired by tech savvy people of the future.
  • You have substantial experience with high-tech systems, which involves physics, chemistry and mechanical machinery.
  • Experience working with scrum project management.
  • Experience in ordering components from suppliers.
  • You have experience working with physicists and marine engineers and similar.
  • Are willing to develop yourself as a professional as other projects and areas of expertise will be required as Copenhagen Atomics will grow.
