Department:
The fuel salt production team plays a central role in Copenhagen Atomics as the team is responsible for production of molten salt for reactors. The fuel salt production team consists of both engineers and technicians, yet we are working very closely together towards the end-goal; supplying fuel salts for reactors.
Your craftsman skills and hands-on experience will play a key role in building and operating our fuel salt production lines. Initially, you’ll be hands-on building and commissioning our production facilities before transitioning into day-to-day operations. You’ll work with evolving procedures and incremental improvements as we scale. Your hands-on skills, attention to detail, and adaptability will be essential.
You’ll play an important role in:
- Building the production facility.
- Operating and monitoring production equipment according to established procedures.
- Performing quality control checks and documentation.
- Maintaining and adjusting production systems.
- Working with varied practical tasks from metalwork to assembly.
- Following and refining standard operating procedures.
- Collaborating with engineers and fellow technicians.
To succeed in the role, you:
- Have strong practical skills and experience as a craftsman like: Metalworker, carpenter, mechanics, plumber, assembly or similar.
- Are detail-oriented and seek continuous improvement.
- Value consistency and reliability in operations - you know that excellence comes from perfecting the fundamentals.
- Want to work in a startup environment, with frequently changing priorities.
- Are flexible across different practical tasks
- Have a technical background or craftsman education, but hands-on ability and attitude matter more than formal credentials.
- Are willing to grow with the company as our fuel salt production scales to $50M annual production.
